Welcome to Barbados
Arrival at Grantley Adams International, check-in at a beachfront resort on Carlisle Bay, and an afternoon on the sand. Evening: Oistins Fish Fry — because it's Friday, and Friday night in Barbados belongs to Oistins. Live music, grilled fish, and the whole island out.
The Birthday
Morning at Harrison's Cave Eco-Adventure Park, lunch at Lemongrass Express, an afternoon spa massage, and a stop at George Washington House. Birthday dinner at Champers — sea-view table, reserved in advance, exactly the kind of night the day deserves.
Boatyard & Local Craft
A day at The Boatyard beach club on Carlisle Bay — beach chairs, clear water, and swim-up energy — followed by an afternoon browsing Pelican Village Craft Centre for local art and souvenirs.
Cliffs & Wind-Down
Morning trip to Animal Flower Cave at the island's northern tip — sea caves and cliffside views — then back south for beach time, poolside hours, and a final easy evening.
Departure
One last morning swim, resort breakfast, and transfer to the airport.
The design detail that mattered: Oistins Fish Fry was placed on Friday — its authentic night, when the locals are actually there — instead of wherever it happened to fall. Timing an experience to the island's rhythm instead of the itinerary's convenience is the difference between attending a thing and being part of it.
